And the object of our faith is simply this: life through the death of Jesus on the cross.

Oh, that doesn’t sell as many books. We are too much a people of instant gratification.

But that is the answer. It means that NOTHING can take that faith away from you. What could happen? Your trust in God is not based on what you FEEL; or what people tell you; or whether or not good things happen to you.

It is based on TRUST IN GOD. Trust “unconditional”. And the fruits of your faith are that YOU will live forever!

THAT is what we gather around! THAT is the God we worship!
