Have you ever felt like you enjoy french toast casserole…but, it’s just too soggy? This recipe is perfect! The crumb topping made of brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and flour adds a nice crisp layer. Almost like an apple crisp. It’s absolutely delicious!

Instead of syrup, top with a sugar glaze of milk, powdered sugar, and 1/2 tsp. of almond extract.
