And Jesus Christ; Son of God, Son of Man; the one who comes as King of the new Kingdom, does not come as a king like the Kings of the Gentiles do: to lord it over them and exercise authority over them.

Instead, this King; GOD in the flesh; comes to be a slave. Look at what he says:

“Jesus Christ, who is King; who is GOD; comes not to BE served, but to serve.”

That is what is noble. That is what is honorable. That is what is true glory. The service, the suffering, is noble. It is where Jesus is ultimately revealed to be God.

The holy one who comes into Jerusalem innocent, unblemished, so undefiled that they lay their palm branches and cloaks before his donkey so that even it’s hooves would not be sullied by the dust of the ground; only to a week later be ultimately defiled, mocked, spit upon, tortured, and to die so that we one day we would be as him: innocent, unblemished, undefiled.

God’s promises WILL come true. A Kingdom is Coming. A KING returns. He will break the will of the evil forces of this world. He will heal where sickness and death lay. He will lift up all those who have fallen because of sin.

He will, with love and power; be God revealed; God SHOWING himself; and on that day, it will all make sense. WE WILL SEE THE KINGDOM; and it will all be made right.
